June 2017 Mandala Writing Workshop in Quezon City

       Last June 26, MPAI core group member Jake Batoon gave a Zen Meditation and a Mandala Writing Workshop to 45 members of the Brookside Youth Servants of Christ (BYSC). They are located at Barangay Bagong Silangan, Batasan, Quezon City. Here are pictures of the participants doing a Shibashi Zen Meditation.

       The Zen Meditation was done in the morning. In the afternoon, Jake gave a short lecture on how to do a mandala writing then afterwards, the participants were given enough time to create their very own mandala writing. Here are some pictures.

       After doing their respective mandala writing or mandala art, we took pictures of them holding their creations. Infinite gratitude to Jake Batoon for facilitating a second mandala writing workshop before June ends. Thank you also to the participants who joined. May Peace Prevail On Earth.

June 2017 Mandala Writing Workshop in Taguig

       Last June 17, Oscar Ejercito, a MPAI (Mandala Peace Arts Initiative) Core group member, met fellow MPAI  core group members Gabby Medina and Madelyn Caadan at Shangri-la, Shaw in Mandaluyong to go to Oscar's place in Taguig to conduct our outreach mandala writing workshop to 3 Single For Christ leaders there. Ludba Namhar or Rocky was able to join us near the Taguig church before proceeding to Oscar's house. We enjoyed first our lunch together before starting a lecture about Mandala writing. Of course, there was still time for picture taking before and after lunch.

        Gabby Medina gave a short lecture on how to do a Mandala writing. Fellow MPAI core group members assisted and even took photos during the lecture.

       After the brief lecture, we gave the three participants time to create their respective mandala. We also joined them in making our own mandala writing.

       Each participant was given the chance to explain their mandala writing and after giving their explanation, we took photos of them. We also explained our mandala writings to them.

       Before parting ways, Gabby performed the Jinrui Soku Kami Nari Divinity In for them to follow. We shall have a separate activity for the teaching of the divinity in. Until next time.
