November 2014 Mandala Writing Workshop

This was our Mandala Writing Workshop last November. We also surprised Mario "Toots" Fungo with a birthday cake. Again, to our beloved Toots, a belated and a happy birthday! To everyone else and all the people around the world, a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Mandala Peace Arts Initiative (MPAI). This photo of Toots holding a birthday cake is also timely. This can also be a birthday cake to our Savior Jesus Christ. Happy birthday Lord Jesus! :-)

October 2014 Mandala Writing Workshop at TNHS, Sorsogon

Aside from the walk rally held in Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon in celebration of the Peace and Ecology week on October 20 to 26, we also conducted a Mandala Writing Workshop for the faculties of the Talaonga Natonal High School last October 24.

They've created beautiful Mandalas and they all enjoyed doing them. Take a look below at their creation. May Peace Prevail in Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon and on Earth.

2014 Walk Rally for Peace and Ecology in Sorsogon

October 20 to 26 was the Peace and Ecology week of the Municipality of Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon and to celebrate it, we held our 23rd Annual Walk Rally for Peace and Ecology at the Sta. Magdalena Central School. Our theme was "Peace Citizenship Towards Environmental Stewardship". This event was sponsored by BOCC Inc., YPSEL Inc. and LGU in cooperation with Sta. Magdalena National High School, Association of Barangay Council, Sta. Magdalena District Elementary School, St. Mary Magdalene Parish Church, TNHS and the Association of YES-O Officers. Youth from Pagasa Youth Association of the Philippines also joined in the Walk Rally.

There were two contingents in the event which was the closing program of the Peace and Ecology Week. One is the Bil Og contingent and the other one is the Kaburihan Contingent.

It was a great feeling that many participated in the walk rally for Peace and Ecology. Participants also enjoyed their time walking for a great cause.

There was a program immediately after the walk rally and people gave their wonderful messages. Indeed the event was a success and the participants were glad to have been a part of this event for Peace and Ecology.

The next walk rally may be a year from now but people now have a choice to individually contribute everyday for Peace and Ecology in Sta. Magdalena Sorsogon and wherever they may be. Infinite Gratitude for those who participated in this event.
