In celebration of the International Day of Peace, the Mandala Peace Arts Initiative core group participated in different peace activities all around Luzon and within the month of September. Last September 15, we went to La Sallete in Cavite and celebrated IDP with them. Here are our pictures.
We also conducted a Mandala Writing workshop at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig last September 21. All of the mandalas are flags of different countries that need Peace the most. These countries are the Philippines, Malaysia, China, United States of America, Taiwan, Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Egypt, North Korea, Yemen, Palestine, Israel, Iraq, India, Syria, Libya and Liberia. A special mandala was also made for Mindanao. At the same time, we also joined the Earth Dance, a peace event participated by various peace groups here in Manila.
On the same date, September 21, some of us stayed at ISIS in Quezon city to also participate in the International Day of Peace by doing some of the flag mandalas. These are our pictures.
Some of our friends in the city of Baguio, celebrated also the International Day of Peace with us. Indeed, may Peace prevail on Earth and God bless everyone.
