February 2017 Peace event in La Trinidad and mandala writing workshop

       Mario "Toots" Fungo participated in a Peace prayers event in La Trinidad, Benguet. With him are Mayor Romeo K. Salda, Vice Mayor Joey Y. Marrero, members of the council and department heads.

       Toots also gave a mandala writing workshop to the students in La Trinidad, Benguet. May Peace Prevail On Earth.

February 2017 Meeting with a gallery director/curator

       Last February 28, 2017, Mario "Toots" Fungo and Gabriel "Gabby" Medina met with Mr. Simon Balboa, a director/curator in an art gallery named "Sining Kamalig" at Ali Mall, Cubao. Toots and Gabby talked about their plans to have a mandala exhibit in the mall to encourage mall shoppers to attend the mandala writing workshop during the 3-weeks exhibit. This will happen tentatively within June to August. Mr. Simon also suggested to give a mandala writing workshop for inmates in the Muntinlupa Prison and for children who also have problems with the law. Their works may also be included in our mandala exhibit. That is actually a good suggestion so we can fill up the space. We shall meet with Mr. Simon soon after our MPAI core group meeting this March. May Peace Prevail On Earth! Schedule of Mandala Writing Workshops at Ali Mall Cubao will be revealed soon.

February 2017 Mandala Writing Workshop in Baguio City

       While in Baguio city, Mario "Toots" Fungo planned with Maela Jose and Sonny Sandueto at Villa Romana about the SOPP preparations. He also encouraged them to do a mandala as a bonding activity.

       He also gave a Mandala Writing Workshop to students at the Roxas National High School.
